About Us
Cascade are an innovative developer and supplier of human resource and payroll solutions. As a Microsoft Gold Partner we are experts in the very latest technology and have been using MS technologies since 1992. Our flagship human resources software, Cascade, is a .NET solution that was launched in 2004 and now has nearly 250 installed sites ranging from 25 to 10,000 employees. We currently employ 56 people but that number is growing all the time.
We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and have been listed in "Who's Who" of Business as one of the United Kingdom's top 1% of growing companies in 2007 and 2008. Owned by 4 Directors the organisation has no outside investment and no borrowings and is financially strong. We have built upon nearly 20 years of success by investing in our people, products and clients to guarantee success in the future.
In 2009 we have added more clients and continue to steadily recruit new and valued members to our team. We support the CIPD and are sponsors of their new "Excellence Through Technology" award 2009 as well as long time supporters of the CIPD's key conferences at Olympia and in 2009 their new venue at G-Mex.
Unlike some of our competitors Cascade are a "Bricks and Mortar" company. By that we mean we have invested in our own offices which we bought. We dont operate from "Virtual offices" or home addresses, we havent rented offices for the short term. We have purchased our offices to send a strong message that we are here, and we are here to stay."
Our building in Pudsey houses our accounts team, administration, marketing and sales as well as both our payroll and HR support desks and 3rd line support. Our Project teams and account managers operate from this office and our Development team are also based here. We do not sub contract any services and all employees are UK based and directly employed.
Keeping focused, staying involved!
Unlike the owners of many companies Cascade's Directors have remained directly involved with operational aspects of the business. Heather Vitty, Cascade's Client Services Director, believes that this is a key advantage "By maintaining contact with our clients and with our prospective clients, we can continue to ensure that the company evolves in line with market requirements. As Directors it ensures that we understand what our clients want and also the challenges that our employees face".
