Firstly, what makes us the same?

There are some things that you expect from a HR and Payroll system. Things that are "must have" benefits. We have HMRC accreditation, we hold comprehensive employee records and we provide a range of modules covering every aspect of HR and Payroll. We also implement our systems to our client’s specifications; we provide quality support services and all the other things you would expect of a market leading HR and Payroll systems provider. If a supplier cannot even claim the basics, why should you consider them?


So what makes Cascade different?

To begin, we are the only UK provider with a completely browser based (not necessarily hosted online although it is an option) .net HR solution and its own HMRC Accredited payroll system that can boast 180 active clients and a product that was released commercially 5 years ago. That means a mature and robust system that is already proven yet uses technology most of our competitors haven’t even begun to develop yet.

Cascade has been designed with a unique philosophy. We always ask ‘Why?’ when we develop a feature. We ask why HR and Payroll people want a feature and that inevitably reveals the real world features we should develop to support the original request. Build a report in Cascade and you’re given the usual options to print it, graph it etc but you can also use the data to take action, to start a process, to send a letter or an email etc. We call this a ‘Doing’ system. It doesn’t just hold data and present it to you. It lets you do real world things with it.


Why else is Cascade different?

To really find out we need to show you the system and for that we offer free demonstrations but we can talk about a few more here. Cascade provides everything. We don’t use third party payroll systems rebadged as our own, we don’t plug in someone else’s report writer, we don’t expect you to buy a separate license for organisational charting. We don’t plug in a third party workflow, we develop our own for our clients to use for what we know best, HR and Payroll. We do this because this means we alone support it so there are no excuses, the buck stops with us. We do this so we can develop what our clients want and develop our systems together, coherently so they work together for you and for you in a way designed for what you do. We do this so we don’t part company with partners after you implement systems from them and us leaving you with systems that are developing away from each other.
