Hello, I’m Alan Jones, founder and Managing Director of Cascade HR. My role is to ensure that Cascade maintains it’s core principles and values. We’re a software company so that means we have to deliver software solutions that work, on-time and within budget. We recognise that the world doesn’t stand still, so we’re continually working to ensure our customers have the very best set of HR and payroll tools at their fingertips.

How do we know they’re the best? Well, it’s simple really, we ask our customers what features they want and we set about developing those features via our product “road map”.

At Cascade everyone is approachable and friendly, we notice the difference internally, we all get on together and have fun; our customers notice too and really enjoy engaging with us.

My department includes the Project Managers, Consultants, Support Desk and Account Managers, who all play an important part post sales in ensuring your initial system is delivered on time and within budget, but also promoting a long term relationship that we believe our customers deserve.

The Client Services Team is committed and customer focused in everything we do as we believe we have the best HR and Payroll software, which is exciting to implement and train on as we know that our customers love it!!

Since the commercial release of our .net HR and HMRC accredited payroll solution we have enjoyed outstanding growth and have been recognised as one of the UK's top 1% of growing companies. This means we have been awarded a great deal of new contracts (approaching 200 in the last 2.5 years alone) and I am extremely proud that each and every one of those contracts has been succesful and each remains an active user of our solutions.

Without doubt technology is one of the key elements to the success of Cascade. From my perspective an excellent product is a result of continual investment in the latest technology and the very best employees. As my team will tell you, I am obsessive about quality and fine detail, and get a real kick out of delivering features and solutions of genuine benefit.

In my time with Cascade I have worked personally with many of our clients to drive the product forward, and in my early days have actually written some of the core Cascade modules. Being one of “original” members of Cascade (Joining in 1995) I am deeply passionate about all things Cascade. In recent times I have worked hard to cultivate a 15 strong technical team that are picked not just for their ability, but for their values and ethos. We don’t just have a “can-do” attitude; we have a “can-do-better” attitude to all of our challenges.
