HR Software System Designer
The Cascade HR software package is provided with our powerful yet surprisingly easy to use System Designer module.
This module allows designated and trained HR Administrators (it is not necessary to delegate this to IT) to edit and configure all standard screens and fields.
It then allows new layouts and new fields to be created, as well as document links and all other aspects of the system. Furthermore you are able to create new screens with new fields as required.
One unique and hugely advantageous feature of System Designer is the facility to import Excel Spreadsheets directly to new screens.
During customer satisfaction surveys we learned that in the majority of cases HR professionals are storing information in spreadsheets alongside their current systems and wanted to be able to import the data into their HR Solution.
At best this would traditionally mean creating a screen and tables, laying out the screen and then importing the data after mapping columns to fields.
With Cascade this has been simplified. By simply creating the database table (a 3 click operation) the spreadsheet can be imported without the need to create and layout fields. The process will create the screen for you automatically and add the data to the relevant records.
The information is available to the reporting system and other areas of the Cascade HR software system immediately.
