Payroll integration to HR Software
The new rule of thumb in the 21st century, is “fully integrated”. Fully integrated means two things, firstly that the HR system and the payroll system integrate, seamlessly. Secondly, it means that the HR and payroll systems MUST be owned and supported by the same, single software supplier.
Look carefully at your prospective suppliers when choosing HR and/or payroll software. Many of these suppliers can be ruled out immediately, either for not providing both HR and payroll packages, or for providing only one of their own packages and re-selling (re-badging) the other one.
Look very carefully and ask the question: “Do you own, develop and support all the HR software and payroll software you are proposing to supply to us?”. You will be surprised to find that many suppliers are not what they seem.
