By opening up this bigger picture to Line Managers, they are suddenly able to see the overall capacity of their team and make accurate judgements as to how to balance holiday requests without compromising the productivity of their team. Appraisals are also less likely to be repeatedly re-scheduled as Line Manager and Employee are given more notice and time to prepare.
