Redmayne-Bentley, one of the UK's largest independent stockbrokers and winners of the Shares Magazine Best Advisory Broker for 2006, have decided to implement the latest .NET technology to empower their employees, streamline their HR administration and ensure their training records are well maintained by utilising our Core HR module, Training Manager module and our Workflow and System Designer tools.
As an existing client, Debbie Nuttall - HR Manager for Redmayne-Bentley first laid eyes on our latest .NET solution at our Northern User Group Meeting last year. Having been impressed with the service and support Redmayne-Bentley have received whilst using our Payroll software, Debbie had no reservations about asking Cascade to demonstrate their capabilities against Redmayne-Bentley's criteria of HR needs.
At Cascade we believe that supporting our clients are priority number one. We are a UK based company; all departments are based at our Head Office in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Our service level agreement ensures that our help desk is always on hand to help.
Debbie needs a feature rich system that will be easy to use, have an easy to use comprehensive report writer that can output data into Excel at the click of button and manage all administration when it comes to organising employee training.
As an organisation in the finance sector, Redmayne-Bentley are obliged to be very stringent when administering employee training records, regulations stipulate that mandatory training is required by employees, breaches of these regulations could affect how their business performs. Debbie needs a system to track historic training details and have the ability to plan future training by looking at historical records at the click of a button. Cascade reflects the need to take each employee and assess their individual training and development requirements, as well as looking at organisation wide skills gaps.
Once again, Cascade has been designed to cut down on administration, whilst providing open channels of communication with the workforce. Cascade even enables you to accurately measure the return which your investment on training is delivering, in the shape of on-going workplace evaluation to see just how training has changed the individual's ability to carry out their role and motivate people to put their new-found skills into practice.
Another key requirement for Debbie is to streamline the day to day administration of managing absences. She is looking forward to implementing our self service module allowing employees to request holidays online and allowing line managers to authorise these requests. Along with streamlining Redmayne-Bentley's holiday requests, line managers and employees will also be able to keep a closer check on training themselves thus improving the communication all around the organisation.
