Hotel Chocolat is the British-owned phenomenon, brazenly committed to real, authentic chocolate. Founders Angus Thirlwell and Peter Harris had one goal in mind when they started the business over 10 years ago - to make a better type of chocolate available to UK consumers bored by the mediocrity of the chocolate available in supermarkets and on the high street.
Starting as a catalogue-based business, that's exactly what they did, making their brand of exclusive chocolates available to UK consumers for the first time. An award-winning website soon followed and in 2004 the first of many Hotel Chocolat stores appeared on the high street.
Feature rich, centralised system
As Hotel Chocolat have now in excess of 400 employees, the need for a feature rich centralised HR solution, to cope with the modern day demands of a UK Retail Company was identified.
