Taking advantage of the power of Cascade's Self Service module which ensures seamless and controlled communication between HR, Payroll, Line Managers and employees Cascade offer an integrated Expenses module.

Employee expenses and mileage claims have now been made even easier to process, saving time and increasing efficiency within your organisation. With Cascade’s expenses module, all expenses and mileage claims can be submitted online through Cascade, and paid either through Cascade Payroll, or with a separate BACS file.

Easily delivered.

Cascade Expenses is easy to roll out. It is simply an extension of Cascade Self Service so there is no additional software, no need for IT involvement or any need to perform complex and resource heavy roll out and implementation. Simply add the license, configure the system and roll it out through the Self Service module.

Simple to use.

Expenses is delivered within an employee's record so they can view and make their claims through screens they are accustomed to for holiday requests, personal details and other screens they will visit regularly. Adding expense items couldn't be easier, simply click and type and Cascade will calculate VAT and provide simple lists to select options.

Benefits for all.

Making the entry and submission of expenses claims easier and less time consuming doesn't just benefit the employee. Less time is wasted on administration, meaning more time spent performing work related tasks. This is true also for Authorisers who can authorise claims through Self Service as well. Ultimately the HR, Payroll and Finance teams also benefit as Expenses can be processed either through the Cascade Payroll system or via a BACS file for your own Payroll software as preferred.

Strategic.

The ability to report on Expenses data means that patterns can be easily identified and action taken as required. Furthermore using Cascade's unique Query Builder combined with Workflow, it is possible to set up dynamic groups that monitor key performance indicators and initiate workflows if chosen KPIs are reached.

For example, a process may begin via Workflow when an employee claims excessive amounts alerting the employee, managers or finance. Another example may be that actions should be taken, in this case by Workflow, if any employee claims more than a given value. All of this and more can be reported upon and/or monitored by Workflow if required. Ease the workload, free time, remove errors, monitor and take action all through Cascade's simple to use yet powerful, and in some cases automated, functionality.
