ABF The Soldiers’ Charity gives lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families.

Earlier this year ABF The Soldiers’ Charity decided to replace their current HR system, we caught up with John Noonan, Head of Adminstration, on why they chose Cascade HR.

Why did ABF The Soldiers’ Charity decide to implement HR software? 

We had expanded so much that traditional HR techniques could not be sustained.

 Via which methods did you search for this?

Purely on the presentation I received at the CIPD Conference in Manchester in 2011.

How did you evaluate the various software options?

I did this through discussion with various providers at the CIPD Exhibition in Manchester.

 Why did you choose Cascade? 

 Because, in our opinion, Cascade had the product which most readily fulfilled out HR requirements.

Charlotte is a person who has an intimate knowledge of her product and an easy way of putting the benefits to her audience.  When she came to see us initially she convinced me about the system and gave me a warm feeling about the decision I was about to make. 

When presented with the possibility of coming back to brief one of our directors she was very enthusiastic about the prospect.  When she did return she was so professional and obviously knew her product so well my director agreed the purchase without hesitation.

Charlotte is an exceptionally good ambassador for Cascade and it has been a pleasure to have had dealings with her.

After two demonstrations with Charlotte, we decided to implement Cascade HR plus the Self Service and Workflow modules.
