Cascade HR celebrates CPD accreditation!

Cascade HR are delighted to announce that they have received confirmation that their ‘Introduction to Cascade’ training course is now fully accredited by the CPD!

The CPD organisation, or ‘Continuing Professional Development,’ guides professionals in expanding their skills and knowledge via a wide range of learning activities. By combining different training methodologies, such as workshops, conferences, e-learning, and mixed courses, individuals can improve on their existing skillset by following a conscious and proactive learning process. CPD is supported by over 1,000 different institutes and professional bodies across the UK.

The Introduction to Cascade training course acts as the perfect starting point for users who may be new to their company, or to the Cascade system itself. Open to anyone who may have joined a new HR or Payroll HR team within the last three months, the Introduction to Cascade full-day course is offered to customers completely free of charge, and is normally undertaken at Cascade’s Head Office in Leeds. A staple course for the past few years, Introduction to Cascade has grown in popularity so much that it is now run monthly.

Alongside touring the office and meeting some of the Head Office team, attendees receive a full demonstration of the system and the capabilities of its various modules. The day also includes full training on the basic functionality of the use and administration of Cascade HR, allowing delegates to gain a full understanding of all basic HR and admin tasks. Structuring a full day of training in this unique way enables new users to get the most from their HR systems straight away!

The modern workforce now accepts that along with standard academic qualifications, development opportunities tailored to more vocational and skills-based or ‘practical’ learning can play a strong role in helping employers to retain key staff. Alongside this, it can aid in developing the skills and knowledge level within their organisation, maintaining a sustainable and competitive advantage.

With each hour of learning equivalent to one CPD point, attendees can look to gain around seven points by undertaking the Introduction to Cascade course. By working with their own organisations to build up CPD points, attendees can continue to develop professionally, ensuring that their academic and practical qualifications do not become outdated or obsolete as workplaces modernise their processes and output. ‘Up-skilling’ or ‘re-skilling’ will continue to become increasingly important as people expect to work until an older age, across a number of different roles and industries.
