Every year, without fail, our client user groups are a ‘sell out’. Well, they would be, if they weren’t free to attend! These interactive day sessions provide a fantastic opportunity for our clients to heighten their understanding of the software, their knowledge of wider industry issues and their own professional development. So they’re very well attended indeed.

We continue to tweak the programme of content and speakers, to tackle the advent of new legislation, reflect evolving marketplace challenges and opportunities, and help achieve the objectives you have for the event. User groups are all about our clients, after all. So it makes sense that we shape the day to suit your needs, and justify your valuable time away from the office.

When clients faced the advent of Real Time Information, for example, Cascade and special guest speakers from the CIPP and HMRC talked through what this would mean for payroll teams, what provisions would need to be made and how, practically, we could help. And when the Pensions Regulator announced the launch of Auto Enrolment, for instance, we made sure we covered the vast topic in easy-to-digest bite-sized chunks, so that our clients were well-informed and better prepared.

We invite clients to take the floor too, to share their ‘Cascade journey’ and showcase uses of the software which may benefit our wider customer base. For example:

            • Construction services firm Morgan Sindall have showcased their use of Workflow and Reporting
            • Leeds Housing Concern tackled the topical subject of absences and the cost implications of an ineffective absence management strategy
            • Sika Limited have highlighted their use of Cascade as a change management tool, when its 472-strong workforce went through a £30m company takeover.


But the user groups don’t just benefit our clients. Because we are committed to continuous improvement, Cascade pays great attention to the dialogue that unfolds at these events too. We harness feedback and ideas from our customer base that will help shape future software and service development, for example.
