The workflow module
from Cascade has benefited our HR team as well as our line managers by reducing the need for onerous administration processes. We reduce the need to actively memorise dates and put them into our calendar. Its also helped in improving employee engagement by small soft touches like happy birthday emails, emails congratulating individuals on five year services. We also have produced workflows which have allowed for checklists when people change their personal details,
as well as visa updates and entries to next of kin changes. I think that the introduction of the Cascade workflow module has helped reduce HR processes drastically and in turn has also help reduce the full time equivalent within the HR and payroll team. We used to have four full time employees, we now have two full time and one person that works three days a week.
